Have you ever written a book or would you like to some day?

I think in today's world,its much much easier to do research for a book and to write one based on the subject matter.The internet (I would imagine) lets the writer explore lots of options.Would you ever have the patience or the talent to write a book and if you did what would it be about? Would it be a fiction or non-fiction book?
