One of my favorite movies from the '30's! Most people I know have never seen it.

I love the old pre-Hayes code films. I catch them on Turner Movie Classics every once in awhile. The last time this particular film was on, a few people were over and I turned it on to get them to watch it with me. They were shocked such a film as that was made in the 30's.

Yeah it was really shocking at the time. Due to the publics horrified reaction to seeing the movie It virtually finished the directors career. It was banned here in the UK for 30 years until the 1960's.

Yeah man. In many ways it was quite amateurish, but because of the reality, it was probably the creepiest film ever made!

Yeah it's very creepy, it was banned in the UK for over 30 years and virtually ended the directors career!
It's certainly quite a unique film, it shows a time when people would go and watch freak shows that had nothing to do with Simon Cowell.

Oh god, it's pre-code, I can only imagine that it's pretty intense.

Yeah it's quite good, I think it was banned for a while after its release because people were too scared of the actual circus freaks in the film.

I'm downloading it... it totally appeals to me. I spent about an hour reading about the film, and then reading up on the different actors.

Hope you enjoy it. There is a guy in it to look out for Roscoe Ates, whose stuttering voice in the movie is thought to have been the inspiration for Porky Pigs voice!
