Have you ever been to a concert?

Ferηαηdσ [Clinton2016] 2011/10/15 17:27:33
You!
Add Photos & Videos
If yes, for which artist(s)? If no, which artists would you like to see?

I am so excited because for my 21st birthday tomorrow, my mom bought me tickets to see Jay Z and Kanye West in concert! This is only my second concert to see a major artist. The first one was Phil Collins.

I have seen too many shows to count. ACDC to ZZ Top...(A to Z).

Pearl Jam at the Gorge in George was the best show I ever saw. Anyway, Happy Birthday, and have a good time at the show!!

I was (still am) a pothead and missed a lot but what I remember most is just people all over the place. I had friends who thought 'Reds' were fun and no acid like the smart ones.

OK. I believe you, then. Ha ha I always ask people who say they were there if they saw Hendrix because so few people were still there on Monday morning to see it. I tend to call bullsh** on those who say they saw Hendrix there, because while there were about a half-million people there, about 20 million claim they were. Of the half million, only a few thousand were still around by the time Jimi came on stage.

I was barely out of diapers in '69, so I wasn't there. I was there in spirit, though.

I'll share with you. I think my favorite was seeing Elvis in his prime in the Houstion Astrodome. I saw the beatles in 1964 in Kansas City problem there was the women screamed the entire time and it was hard to hear. Neal Diamond was really good, saw him in his prime. I had front row seats to see Richous Brothers in Vegas in their prime. I also saw Toby Keith when he played sandstone in Kansas City, he was great.
Probably one of the most memorable experiences was my wife and I were in a nightclub and Mickey Gilley was there not for a concert but just there. They talked him into going on stage with the band and singing some songs, so we danced to Mickey Gilley singing right in front of us, pretty cool evening. I love music, so always enjoy every concert you ever go to, they are all memorable experiences..

It was a free concert. I went to an ox roast or something years ago, and Ted Nugent was there. He put on a great show.

No I haven't , even though I'm ridiculously into music my family is always broke , I never have anyone to go with , and its always like an hour long drive to an unfamiliar place if I did want to go

I'd like to see... so many bands/artists it'd be easier to not even go down the list lol

Yea tickets are ridiculously expensive so I understand what you are saying. The only reason I got to see Phil Collins was because my dad got free tickets from where he works and my mom got the tickets for the concert I'm going to because it's my birthday and she always saves up for our presents.

Yet it never fails if I look up live videos on youtube the audience is always 100% packed full of people (Even at concerts for bands most people never heard of) , its crazy

I love Youtube but seeing their concert on video just gives me more wanting to see them live. I love watching live concerts and live performances because whether or not they can perform well live can make a true artist. I can only imagine the feeling of being at a live concert.
