Unbeleivable depiction of the Women's Sufferage Movement up to around 1912 -18 Their nonviolent resistence during the war, holding the office of President and Congress accountible for their insistance to keep women as second class citizens, caused them to be thrown in jail. They went on a hunger strike, were force fed by the grossest means.
Women have ONLY been able to vote since 1920
(nearly as old as me)
I think when Bush talked to Hillary today, it was about, in part a women's resistence that might arise out of this election. What do you think? Possible?
My activism has only changed hearts and minds when I have gone to jail unjustly.
