Has anyone seen the new American Girl Movie, Kitt Kittredge?

I took my daughter yesterday and found that I loved this movie! It was set in 1934 during the great depression. I thought it was a great reminder that we should help each other and not depend on the government. My husband and my mother in law also loved it. It was a little long for my daughter but she loved it as well.

I think they have videos for some of them, but this was the first movie theater debut. There is a video about Molly, she is from the 1940's it is about WW2. That is also a good one. I like these because it puts these events in a childs perspective, which is often easier for kids to understand. I also like them because if there is a secret agenda, I have not found it.

It is really good. If you like history and a good story, you would like it. It made me laugh and cry, but overall it was just a good movie. It was nice to watch a movie that was entertaining and did not have any profanity or sex in it.

American Girl is not Disney, different giant corporation. Great message in the movie. Fun to watch.

What boys wouldn't want to watch those girls. Did Kitt have all her clothes on? Just kidding, your daughter did not look like the future poll dancer's of America.
