Story time!
When I was young, probably in about fourth grade, this one kid asked what kind of music I listened to. Before I could reply, he offered "Mozart?" in the most condescending tone and flounced away. Now it's true, of course, but I was still quite unhappy.
That's also my one bullying experience!

But I know I have amazing taste. I don't like that hippity-hoppity crap, country music makes me feel like I'm getting dumber by the second and some rap is okay but most songs are just pointless. Metal fan <3

I like all kinds of music, when I tell them I like gangsta rap there okay with it. But when I tell them I also like slipknot, they criticize! t(-.-t)

But I have heard people tell me I have the weirdest taste in music they've ever heard. Mostly because I have a huge variety of favourites. I've got something of everything: from classical to hip-hop and beyond.

I'll admit some of the bands I like aren't the best. But most of the people who tell me my musical taste is bad never listen to anything not on a popular radio station, so they probably shouldn't be judging.

They say that because i love all types of music and they say i need to stick with one. I always tell them i don't like to be labeled by the music i listen to and they always label me in the end

probably because they like overproduced catchy pop tunes and i like musicians with actual instruments and lyrics that say something, who don't rely on auto-tune.

Ha ha! My kids . . . then I catch them playing songs I love on their guitar's and keyboards! My daughter has even admitted to being a closet Neil Young fan and she's 12! Her favorite is After The Gold Rush -- Just don't tell her friends!

Besides, seriously, I could give a rats ass. I like what I like. Everything from Neil Young to Beyonce. I make no apologies. I think Get Me Bodied is pure genius. It's what you don't hear that is fabulous about it -- music. It's all vocals and percussion.
