im potter head nobody can compete with harry potter twilight ok they are just disgusting did you see
the breaking dawn it just narnia no hunger games no persy jackson no lord of the rigs no harry potter yes
Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. The Hunger games are quite good but no so much that I went out and bought all the books as soon as I saw the movie. As for Percy Jackson and Narnia I just never really got into it. And Twilght?! Ugh. Excuse me while I regurgatate on my shoes.
Out of this list anyway because I'm a Greek Mythology nerd XD Plus I love Percabeth >w> Its just an awesome series lol XD I love all the other book series on this list too though :D (Excluding Twilight of course -.-)
Out of the 6 shown here, The Lord of the Rings is the best. It's remarkably beautiful and has a very good plot, and I easily relate with a good portion of the characters. The latest film edition also gives Mordor's armies a very intimidating air that adds to the feeling of political turmoil.
The Hunger Games comes close, but its plot is a little cookie-cutter, and the protagonist does a little bit of political action, but not much. It has a lot of symbols, though, and the background story is the best part of the series because of how close our own society seems to becoming as corrupt as the Capitol in the story.
The first three Harry Potter books and films were obnoxious, and so I quit reading them. However, the last four films have a strong theme of political turmoil and disorder, and I will admit it's interesting to ponder over how strong Voldemort really is.
Narnia... I couldn't really connect with any of the characters. I always feel like they don't do much and Aslan himself, for some reason, jumps in and saves them all instead.
Percy Jackson... too cheesy. I don't read books about modern-day people interacting with ancient gods.
I believe Lord Of the Rings is not a female teen movie. The rest of these are just goofy kid movies. Although I must admit I did enjoy the Narnia series.
Loved it since I was a kid! Both the books and the movies were gorgeous! The movies are doing SUCH a great job of working with the source material, keeping its innocent, magical quality, and still making a great movie for anyone to enjoy. It's got great visuals, music, acting. It's a great franchise.
The LOTR movies were all SO good but I couldn't even finish the books. I tried to read them all but it's so boring. I swear, all they do is walk through a forest -.-
Harry Potter, I could never really see the obsession with. I've read and watched most of them because, really, there's no escaping it. But I could never get into it.
I loved the first two HG books (the last, not so much) but I haven't seen the movie yet. I haven't had a chance yet and it doesn't look like it does the books justice so it's not high on my list yet.
Percy Jackson, I totally don't remember because I read them so long ago but I liked them then. I didn't see the movie though because I was over the series by the time it came out.
And I liked Twilight and Eclipse (books). New Moon and Breaking Dawn were just okay. I only watched the first Twilight movie but it kinda killed the series for me :/
