Excellent musicians they are not, but Hanson sure knows how to name a beer. The three brothers made it big in 1996 when they released their pop hit "MMMBop," but without any new hits to take to the bank, they've had to settle for a smaller fan base and a humbler career, and part of that route is tackling other business ventures. Their latest venture? MMMHop beer, their very own India Pale Ale.
It's hard to picture the "MMMBop" brothers knocking back brews, but the bubbly blonde brothers aren't kids anymore. The youngest, Zac, is 26 and has been married for six years. The oldest, Isaac, is 31. And it's as much for their fans as it is for them. They told students at Oxford University Union, "We of course make records -- they are fundamental to what we do. But we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience."
To be clear, they wanted to make it known that they will "never make dolls, lunch boxes or toothbrushes that play our songs." Good to know. But they do love a good brewsky. Hanson's MMMHop IPA will be out some time next year.

There is more to Hanson than you think. Watch their Strong Enough to Break film documentary which chronicled their decision to leave their major record label Island def Jam in 2003 because of artistic differences. SHows you an inside look on what it is like in the music industry...The label cared more of business and making a "hit" -- whereas, Hanson, cared more for the creative process and storytelling aspect of music...Hanson decided to LEAVE the major label in 2003. TWO major record companies courted them after that, but Hanson declined their offers...They did not believe that a major record label was right for them anymore. Hanson decided to put up their own record company at the ages of 18, 21 and 23. The first album that came out under their own label , UNDERNEATH, reached Number One in the Billboard Indie Albums chart--imagine if it were released under a MAJOR RECORD LABEL instead who had obviously the millions and global media connections to give them all the promotion, marketing, fame and popularity??? Hanson put their own principles and love of music first before the fame and money the major label record...

Found a better picture of them...
That said... Beer is vile.
Don't want any "bop" in my beer.

They can give these younger so called singers a lesson or two on how to write their own music and sing their own songs without using autotunes and lip singing.
I am not a beer drinker but I wish them all the luck getting their MMBop beer off the ground.
Happy Holidays All
We old professional beer drinkers like good ales at room temperature, which allows the actual taste to be enjoyed. Some of the high-alcohol ales, around 7.6%, are excellent for sipping--but for God's sake, don't chill them beyond recognition! And if you're a gulper, restrict yourself to lower alcohol content.
