THEY SCURRY AROUND, WHILE TAKING FLIGHT.
THEY RUN THEIR ROUNDS, BY THE MOOD,
THEY HIDE IN THE STUFFING, HIDIND THEIR FOOD.
THEY JUMP UP TUBES, AND FALL BACK TO GROUND,
THEY'ER SO LIGHT, THEY DONT WIEGH A POUND.
-BY THE NOON OF DAY, THEY'RE READY TO PLAY!
HAMSTERS CLIMB UP, TO THEIR WHEELS,
SOME FALL OFF, DUE TO THIER MEALS.
SOME GET TIRED, AND NAP FOR NOW,
IN THE EVENING, THEYLL WAKE WITH A POW.
-BY THE TWILIGHT, ITS NOT SO BRIGHT.
HAMSTERS GRAB, ALL THIER HIDE
FROM THEIR BURROWS, THEY HAD LAID TO THE SIDE.
THEY GET THIER STICKS, FROM WHO-KNOWS WHERE,
THEY START A FIRE, IN THE FIELD WITH CARE.
THEY PIN THIER SEEDS, TO TIPS OF BARK,
HAMSTERS LIKE, THEIR FOOD MARKED.
-IT IS NIGHT, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT.
HAMSTERS FULL, TUMMIES TIGHT,
THEY NEED TO SLEEP, THIER EYES OPEN WITH ALL THIER MIGHT.
THEY LOVED THE CAMPFIRE, ROASTING WEINIES,
THE BEST PART IN HAMSTER WORLD IS, THERE ARE NO MEANIES!
THIER DAY IS DONE, WHILE THEY DREAM,
IT IS STILL NOT OVER AS IT MAY SEEM.
-HAMSTERS WAKE, THIER EYES BRIGHT,
