Had you given up hope?

Moments after scoring his second touchdown in Sunday's NFC championship game, Frank Gore stood in the back of the end zone, turned to face the deflated Georgia Dome crowd and began the first few steps of the "Dirty Bird," the celebration dance popularized by the hometown Falcons in the late 1990s. Then, in a move he'd practiced many times, Gore stopped and gave the crowd a dismissive wave, as if to say, "Never mind."

"I thought about that all week," Gore said after San Francisco's 28-24 victory, one that sends the 49ers to their first Super Bowl since the 1994 season. "I told myself, if I get a touchdown, I'm going to start it off and try to mess it up, then tell Falcons fans, 'Well, forget it. It's our time.'" And, in fact, it is the 49ers' time. The team that came within one win of the NFL's biggest stage last season is heading to New Orleans, where it will face Baltimore in Super Bowl XLVII.

I'm a fan from the time they had OJ as a running back (yeah, OJ). I saw the rise of the West Coast Offense and that dynasty under Eddie D, Bill Walsh, Seifert, and a host of coaches that went onto success with their own teams (Holmgren, Shanahan, Denny Green, Gruden, etc). When I look at the Niners, I still see that great team comprised of Montana, Rice, Taylor,Young, Lott, Dean, Craig, Rathman, Sapolu, Dwight Clark, etc).

It was a fabulous time, and they were a powerhouse that no on could beat. Now it is keeping the fingers crossed that they can win.

Why would you give up to a great NFL team, I knew from the start they would beat the Dirty Birds in Atlanta & that's why they did, Quest 4 Six.

I had given up hope, but now that Barack 0bama has been elected to a 2nd term, I know he will bend over and light will shine out of his rectum across the country, magically turning America into an idealized promised land...

    Yeah... Right.

With 10,000 baby boomers leaving the job market every day to retire, the unemployment rate and economy *have* to get better, with nursing home jobs booming, if nothing else.

If you are talking about hope in obama, I never had any in him. He is a shapeshifter, a liar and deceiver.

Even though all hell may break loose, I will not lose hope, because my HOPE is in Jesus Christ, not mankind.
Remember, although it seems right now that evil is sprouting up all around us, it will not prevail against God. Ultimately Obama and all the progressive drones will be put to shame, just as will Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Mussolini, Castro, and all those who fight against the TRUTH.
All who seek to enslave and oppress are evil. The United States under the oppressive of Progressives at this very moment in time, space, history.

Sick to my stomach that this liar in chief will swear to uphold the constitution and most likely will place his right hand on a Christian bible!!! He just lies all the time and turn around and does something completely despicable and the press just continues to laud this incompetent man!!! No objectivity, no investigations into so many impeachable acts...and they gush over Michelle Obama as a style icon??? To who??? This frumpy unattractive horse tooth woman, who creates this pseudo platform against childhood obesity, yet always is photographed eating fried or very rich foods, yet she wants to make it so that us or our children do not have access to those very things that she is always eating herself!!! I feel like it has been a 4 year long nightmare, and it ain't even close to being over...and they said it could never happen here, yet it is happening right under our noses, right now!!! A cult of personality that is unstoppable because it is protected by the cover of the race card. If you dare to dislike or to disagree, you are a racist whether or not it is even true. Because of that there is really no stopping him no matter how insidious his administration or he continue to become.
