30aut6, just released their first album, High Speed Merry-Go-Round, they just opened for Pop Evil, and Red Letter Merchant, my little brother is guitarist for them, all but one songs on the album are original, and one is a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover. www.reverbnation/30aut6.com
Skinyard...from seattle producer of grunge Jack Endino who plays guitar this now defunct band was heavy grunge at it's best...the singer has since passed but this band was a great band that should have been heard by more...finally somebody posted this obscure stuff on You Tube..yea,,,
I can't do an unknown band post without mentioning a talented bunch of guys from Omaha....Grasshopper Takeover...they broke up awhile back (the drummer and bass player play at a bar down the street all the time) and the singer is the brother of 311 vocalist...the first video is a tribute to sailer mercury so it doesn't list the band name in the title...
Grasshopper Takeover...No Pressure
And they're always welcome...nice songs...hmmm wonder where you got your last username from. Here's a couple of female singers I love that you may have never heard...I might have posted one...the other Caterwaul is a fave of mine but the singer tends to annoy a number of people...I love her....Betsy Martin...
LOL! You have sent me these artists before! Added to my playlist long ago! As well as many others you have introduced me to. I thank you for your knowledge! I am a student of music. Always learning. I am always surprised by what you post. My son also surprises me. He learns from me and I learn from him. Never tired of learning.
Keep doing what you're doing and I've told you this before, but you really should do something with all of this (I know SH IS something; however . . . I see big things for you!).
Damn maybe I'm sharing too much with you...just kidding...how about Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights....here's one I haven't played too much...and thanks but I won't be around much longer as I have some things to figure out after the end of the year...but you know I'll always be around...
OK, what i have is not so much an artist as it is a particular music piece. George Romero's "Day of the Dead" is my personal fave of his zombie films. Among the things i really like about it is it's soundtrack. There was a love theme, heard only in the credits, called "The World Inside Your Eyes". It's a beautiful but haunting song, and i thought maybe you might like to give it a listen. Enjoy!
