We're not sure why it took so long, but a movie about actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly is finally in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie would take place in 1962, when the tall, slim, blonde, blue-blooded actress was about 33 -- 20 years before her tragic death in 1982, when a stroke caused her to lose control of her car.

Kelly was a wealthy girl from Philadelphia who went on to win an Oscar and appear in a number of Alfred Hitchcock films. Her most famous role, however, was wife of Prince Rainer of Monaco, whom she married in 1956.

Kelly's life story cries out for biopic, but the script that's going around focuses on a six-month period in 1962, when the princess maneuvered behind the scenes to save Monaco from a coup, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Out of the blondes you have chosen, Charlize Theron is the only possible choice. But there are better choices, I do not think Grace Kelly was a natural blonde, she looked better with dark hair.

Grace has also been compared to Kate Winslet, but I think she's too curvy to play Grace Kelly. Grace didn't have many curves, but she had model measurments, and Charlize is a former model.
Also, Charlize just looks like Grace and has grace too (and haven't they both been in the latest J'adore by Dior commercial?).

I only chose Charlize because you did. I don't think either one should play her, especially Jolie. Margot Robbie on Pan Am looks very much like Grace Kelly and is a good actor.

Looking through all the answers, the only ones that look at all like Grace Kelly and are really pretty are Charlize Theron, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Morrison and Brooke Shields. I think Kate Beckinsale would be the best bet.

I see that the majority of respondents to this poll also chose Charlize Theron as the best actress to play Grace Kelly in a biopic. Charlize shares the same physical characteristics as Grace Kelly -- tall, slim and blond -- and she also has the aristocratic, cool and classy attributes that defined the princess. I have a bone to pick here though. Of all the events occurring in Kelly's life -- her upbringing in a blue-blooded Philadelphia family, her acting career and Academy Award win, her fairytale wedding to Prince Rainier, the births of her beautiful children, her reign of Monaco -- WHY on earth would someone produce a film about her that spans only a six-month period of her life in 1962? Is it even a FACT that Princess Grace worked behind the scenes during that time to thwart a coup in Monaco? When I think about the principality of Monaco, the last thing that comes to mind is some sort of hostile takeover of the government or the throne. But I digress... Charlize Theron is the actress with the most talent, beauty and class to play Grace Kelly. Anyone else would fall far short from filling the role.

I'm not sure why I even bothered to think about this one......it's SOOOOO unimportant....I think that by face alone, Sienna Miller is the best fit. I have never seen the acting of any of these, except the original GK, but her face works for me.......
