Google is celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Pac-Man with a themed logo and mini-game on their search page. In place of Google's usual "I'm Feeling Lucky" button below their search field, the button reads "Insert Coin," which starts up a game of Pac-Man in the Google logo. Clicking the button twice lets you play as Ms. Pac-Man.
Pac-Man was created by Toru Iwatani and was first released in Japan by Namco on May 22, 1980. Best video game ever?

- Jehnyhal~ Hope Not Hate~the... 2010/05/21 18:34:49Um, Pac-Man is not the best video game ever...I think that often people treat the classics like something holy and that's just wrong. Personally, I just can't see how a game that involves eating pellets and avoiding ghosts can stand up to games that pull you into their stories, have amazing soundtracks and fantastic characters. They're rare, but they exist. I'm sure some people would take offence at my opinions, think they're wrong, etc. but that doesn't bother me.reply
