Oprah Winfrey will announce on her show Friday that "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will come to an end on September 9, 2011.

The show will have ended its 25th year on the air when it ends in 2011.

oprah was a good epidemic while she lsted but she is way past retirement. Maybe those millions don't add up and those free gift give aways tax write offs don't get much these days that she tries to milk a bigger pension out of the gov't. no to be mean but damn i am so sick of oprah , i mean i like tv too.

the difference is that Bush, McCain, Reagan, etc. had to give account for where ALL of their money came from. Yet Obummer won't tell who gave him his billions to run for President. Perhaps he doesn't want the world to know how much his communist, muslim and terrorist friends donated to the cause to have this idiot pretender in the white house.

there ya go, I have been spending as much credit as possible this year in hopes that if others do as I an turn our economy around from the ground up, ya know that if all of the money that was given away to all the banks and businesses had been divided equally between every person/ legal citizens, we all could have paid our personal debts, bought new or overhauled homes, bought cars and spent money on all kinds of consumer goods and services
We wouldn't have any issues economically, none, zero, no home less, everyone would be insured, new businesses, we would be such great condition the would be the Strongest and most Prosperous nation ever to exist, many of us screamed for this option and they refused to acknowledge that we were even making ourselves heard, like 40 people in a room yelling the same thing at the same time and the politician in the corner thinking to himself of how quiet and peaceful this room is, i hope you followed that.

Oh, I sure did... I believe their real goal is to make us all poor. We will then have to depend on the government’s hand outs. They want us to keep fighting among our self so we won't notice what really happening. That's why I believe we have got to stop fighting each other and all band together. For the most part we all want the same thing. We have to stop all that repos this and the demos that, the libs this and the cons that. And all the race baiting from both sides. We are all wasting a lot of time and energy.....

It’s so sad, because there a lot happening now that is going to affect our lives for a long time....

I never really watched the show all that much. She was too goody-two-shoes for my liking. I mean, a lot of what she did was great, and she really has helped many people out...but it was so sugar-coated, and sometimes so much like a placebo, I couldn't stand it.
