Did you grow up reading "Archie Comics"? Or did you grow up watching "Glee"? Whether you're 9 or 99, you might appreciate the new "Archie Meets Glee" collaboration. Come to think of it, Archie, Betty and Veronica aren't so different from Finn, Quinn and Rachel after all.

"I thought, 'Archie meets Glee' would be a great crossover since they're both set in high schools, they're both optimistic, they both involve singing," Jon Goldwater, the co-chief executive officer, told The Associated Press. Archie even introduced an openly gay character in recent years, another way the comic is similar to "Glee."
"'Glee' is courageous in their story lines and how they represent their characters, how they represent the high school situation," Goldwater told the AP. A writer for "Glee" will create the crossover late this year or early next year. Will you check it out for the "Archie" aspect? To keep up with "Glee"? Or are you bored by both the vintage comic and the popular TV show?

"Archie"+10I'm 40, and I still read Archie books. I buy them from the magazine section at the supermarket....*quietly waits for a barrage of insults about my age*

Ooops! I mean THIS Betty
Plus, the gay kid with the bow-tie on Glee kind of looks like an Archie character, anyway!
Archie's only been around since, oh, the 1940's.
What's really interesting is how the family that owns the Archie entirprise has been battling over control
I'm not sure how well this crossover will go though. I'm not even sure how I felt about the Rocky Horror crossover.
