I'm female, and I think American football is just a lame version of rugby... with padding.

It is fun to shoot though, so if I've a camera with me, I can manage to watch a whole game.

I've only ever played in highschool... I was always the one flying up in the air trying to get the ball lol... Playing it when you're 2X smaller than everyone else isn't always fun lol

I played in my first two years of high school... then my doctor suggested I quit... well, more like told me, haha.

Luckily with girl's rugby things are fairly evenly matched... besides, in rugby, you don't have to be huge, in fact, it's better if you're not.
