George Clooney Disses Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crow: Cattiest Male Star?
George Clooney opened up to Esquire magazine in the mag's December issue and he had some tough words for fellow A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crow.
Do we really have to prove to you that Kanye West is catty? For starters, he interrupted sweetie-pie Taylor Swift when she won at the VMAs in 2009. Plus, 'Ye pretty much just says what he wants at all times.
No disrespect -- but Donald Trump has the reputation of being a d-bag. He's gotten into fights with Rosie O'Donnell, Martha Stewart and others.
Tom Cruise famously got into some beef with Brooke Shields in 2005, when he slammed the actress for taking anti-depressants as a way to get over post-natal depression.
Jon Hamm recently called out some socialites, saying "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a [expletive] idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture."
We all know Chris Brown has a temper. And he's known for getting into more than a few fights too... fellow rapper Drake, a random guy outside of a club, the list goes on and on.
Regarding Russell, Clooney re-hashed the stars' 2005 feud in which Russell Crow called Clooney a "Frank Sinatra wannabe." Ouch.
In the mag, Clooney says Crow started a fight with him for no reason. The "Gravity" actor recalls: "He put out this thing saying, ‘George Clooney, Harrison Ford, and Robert De Niro are sellouts.' And I put out a statement saying, ‘He's probably right. And I'm glad he told us, 'cause Bob and Harrison and I were also thinking about starting a band, which would also fall under the heading of bad use of celebrity.' And that's when he really went off on me. ‘Who the f--k does this guy think he is? He's a Frank Sinatra wannabe.' He really went after me. And so I sent him a note going, ‘Dude, the only people who succeed when two famous people are fighting is People magazine. What the f--k is wrong with you?'"
As for Leonardo, Clooney recalls playing basketball with the "Titanic" star in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico years ago and it not going over so well. The 52-year-old bachelor says: "You know, I can play... I'm not great, by any means, but I played high school basketball, and I know I can play. I also know that you don't talk s--t unless you can play. And the thing about playing Leo is you have all these guys talking s--t." OK. So maybe Leo wasn't the one talking s--t, but apparently, someone from his crew did.
Usually, Clooney stays pretty classy, but maybe he was just getting tired of all the Hollywood drama? He wouldn't be the only male star caught up in a cat fight.
From George Clooney to Donald Trump to Kanye West, who's the cattiest male celeb of them all?
