If you thought Lady Gaga's meat dress was ridiculous, wait 'til you hear what they're doing with it next.

Thankfully, the notorious meat dress that Gaga wore to this year's VMAs won't be donated to the Salvation Army or turned over to McDonald's to be processed into hamburger meat, but they aren't throwing it away, either. They're turning it into jerky.

The designer, Franc Fernandez, tells E! Online: "The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of 'jerky' and will be archived. Thank you."

Fernandez told MTV that the process of turning the dress into jerky would be natural -- an alternative to letting it rot.

When MTV asked Fernandez if he planned to reprise the meat dress, he said, ""I think it's just that -- it's just the meat dress. There's not going to be meat dresses in the future. This was made for a specific purpose. It's what it is."

That's a relief, but someone should tell designer Jeremy Scott, who designed two new meat dresses after seeing the one Gaga wore.

Hell yes! I mean I think she a lunatic, but I'd eat a piece that was marinating near her womanly juices since its acidic and would be probably be the tastiest and safest to eat, since the acids would be slowly cooking it. And then I could use a pube as tooth floss. Kind of 'AMERICAN PSYCHO' style

And I know you all know what I mean by womanly juices. If I had a squirter for a girlfriend I'd be using this marinade all the time, and don't be lying all you guys out there, you would too, you're just too scared to admit it. And for all you tards saying that it would stink like rotting flesh are complete idiots. It was made in a refrigerated room and kept refrigerated until right before she went on stage and removed it before it could have even began to spoil. And believe me, the steak you eat at a 4 star restaurant has probably gone thru much worse sanitary conditions than having been worn by lady Gaga.

I don't eat beef so no.

I still find it funny that Gaga isn't the first person to have done a meat dress. It was done way before Gaga in 1987 in the work "Vanitas: Flesh Dress for an Albino Anorectic".

Although I was not offended or shocked by this garb, having seen other meat made fashion in the past, I don't believe that this meat would have been handled in a manner that complies with national food handling standards. So no, I would not eat it.
