From whom would you be more likely to take relationship advice?

Probably neither, I would just ask one of my friends or my sister. But if I had to pick I would ask my Mom.

Because she and I are both females so she probably has a better idea what's going through my head.
Though my dad is good to go to if you need to know what the other person might be thinking. Actually, I don't really go to my dad. I let him tell me stuff on his own time.

Since my father was missing through my life, it would have to be my Mother. I never asked her advice on relationships. You have to make your own bed!

I used to consider Rich (my father) to be a good advice giver but since he has betrayed my family and left us to rot essentially--aside from being a very cynical person by nature--I no longer seek him out for any advice, really. My friends give me good advice but Mom has the best.

I think it sort of common for Daughters to talk with thier mothers about that before talking to the Fathers.

Sure I never really share too much of that with her... but if I had been in a relationship while she was here, I would've told her about it and when having problems I would have consulted her. She's helped my sister with her relationship from 16 yrs old, and now shes 30 and married with the same guy, throughout all the fights, my mom always told her to be patient.
She was a great woman.

Mom is almost always the one that is WAY more relationship aware..... however, that is a generality... and some dads are great at managing relationships too..... but I'd still go to the mom first lol..... women's intuition.....

More likely, but I would not be likely to listen to either of them. They are both insane idiots with horrendous relationship histories.

I would probably avoid either, but my mom's advice would probably be far less extreme and non-committal, while my dad would say "He's not perfect for my girl, don't worry, I've got lots of weapons to handle this."
I'd actually go to my step-mom. Voices opinions on hings and when something is bugging her she usually knows how to fix it and is willing to do so, and she realizes that yes I will like boys, and no, I'm never going to find a perfect guy who they deem worthy of me. Plus her relationship with my dad is great, while my birth mom's choices in men are not ones I'd really agree with. My step-dad isn't great, and my dad was not a good match for her.
