It hasn't even been a month since Amy Winehouse died at age 27, and already, a biopic about her tragically short life is reportedly in the works.
Plans for a movie about the soulful singer have already been discussed with her family, The Sun claims, adding that the search for the right actress to play her has begun.
"The feeling is there wouldn't be an actress under 30 who wouldn't want to play her," an insider told the tabloid. "The first job is to get financial backing from co-production companies in the States. Some are showing interest because it's a sure-fire money-spinner."
