The red carpet at the Cannes film festival has had all that and more, but it's impossible to top Eva Longoria's blush-colored Marchesa gown with its 10-foot tulle train. Pretty Indian actress Freida Pinto stood out -- and showed some leg -- in a lime green Atelier Versace gown. Alec Baldwin's yoga teacher fiancee Hilaria Thomas looked like a star in her own right, but Jessica Chastain's Alexander McQueen didn't do much for us.

    Longorias bigger does not mean better. It's a basic dress mold with massive train attached. Lazy and pedestrian. I vote Kruger, Fonda, Swinton & Cotillard.

    Jane Fonda had my vote. I thought she looked impeccable in that dress. But, how dare she look better than me. I did not like that fluffy thing Eva Longoryugh had on. It made me think they had killed a bunch of angora bunnies to make that too long train. The top was pretty but oh my the rest was terrible. Several others, especially the black dresses, came in pretty close, but the one I like the least was that lime green dress. Oh, my eyes...I'm blind.

    I wanted to vote for Fonda just because of her age, but Longoria is the most beautiful. Pinto has the best curves. I did not know she was from India. I assumed she was African American or Latina.

    Diane's, Hilaria's and Marion's were beautiful but I didn't like the rest. Eva you aren't getting married and Freida's just doesn't look right on her. My opinion.

    Uh - best dressed or worst? These were mostly hideous designs, colors and cuts. Not only bad for the event...but, bad, overall. Only a few stood out as NOT hideous: Hilaria and Marion being the two that looked appropriate. Lime green is just nasty, for anything dressy. Although not the worst, Jane Fonda and Eva Longoria did not top the list for anything. Jane looks great for 74. But, the dress was way "too much". Eva's - was just "eh". She has actually had much better, for lesser occasions.

    Hanoi Jane, should be in the pokey. I don`t care what she does or doesn`t wear. She`s way to low on the scale for me. I can`t get past the type of person she is. Can`t stand her.
