Colin Farrell stars as "Jerry." He moves into a Las Vegas Suburb and has a murdous secret. I saw it yesterday. Really, it wasn't a bad re-make, but it wasn't great either. Did you see it? If so what did you think?

In a lot of ways, it seemed like a completely different movie than the original. I have to stick with the original. It's my favourite!

We watched it and thought it was even better then the original. Colin Farrell does just fine as a vampire in it. Also it was really nice to see Anton Yelchin all grown up .Last movie I remember seeing him in was 'Hearts in Atlantis' with Anthony Hopkins. That is a very good movie too.

A lot of people liked it better than the original. I am glad you enjoyed it. I am a big Colin Farrell fan, can't wait to see him in Total Recall.

I was hoping for a bit of a scare, but got a great laugh. So.. all in all it was pretty good. I enjoyed the humour. Though the orginal is much better.

I laughed so hard in that movie and everyone was just like "what the hell with the wierd girl laughing at the horror movie???" and then a guy started laughing with me and at the end we commented what we thought was funniest and his girlfriend looked like he was about to bite my head off lol

You know... Very little scares me, so I am a bad gage. It may be scary to alot of ppl. Why don't you tell me what you thought after you've seen it?

The idea of vampires isn't very novel to me. They've been done to death! They bite you, and they're always alluring. So to me, it isn't the worse way to go. I think zombies are a little more scary. They're stupid n' slow, but its horrific the way they've lost all humanity... And just crave flesh. I also think Demonic stuff is frightening. The otherworldy experience of being hunted and possessed by something that you invited in...

Part of the charm of the original was Roddy McDowall as the Peter Vincent as a movie vampire hunter who is anything but fearless.

Amanda Bearse, who later on went to play Marcie D'Arcy on Married With Children was pretty hot in Fright Night.

bearse play marcie darcy married children pretty hot fright Amanda Bearse fright night

The second one was good too, but the first one better. Most remakes suck! This one didn't.

I saw that movie the day of its release and being a fan of the original,I enjoyed the way they re-worked the movie while staying true to the premise and plotline of the original. If there's a reason why I usually wait to see remakes when they hit cableis because they usually turn out to be nothing more than a shot by shot copy of the original. I thought Colin Farell's Jerry Dandridge was far more sinister and flat out badass than the original played by Chris Sarandon.Farell's Dandridge didn't need the big hulking guy to assist him. I saw the 3D version and the best effect was when a vampire died in an explosion of glowing cinders that floated in front of the viewer.

Yeah there were some good affects, but I thought the movie was sort of dim and hard to see. At least that is how it showed here in Ireland. It would have been nice if it were a little brighter. I think I may watch the older one again... Cause I've forgotten most of it. I do remember liking the original a little more than this one. dim ireland brighter watch older ive forgotten remember liking Fright Night
