First there was Anderson Cooper. Now, it’s Frank Ocean’s turn to step out of the closet and admit his sexuality to the world. But what makes Frank’s disclosure particularly powerful is that he is one of the first rap artists to do so. Is the member of the rap group Odd Future taking a big risk putting himself out there into unchartered territory?
It is fitting that Ocean revealed his true self on Independence Day and in his statement he said, “I feel like a free man." It remains to be seen if his fans and fellow artists will embrace his courage or turn their backs on him. In the Twittersphere, some celebs have already stepped up and supported Ocean. His fellow Odd Future band mate Tyler the Creator tweeted, "My Big Brother Finally *** Did That. Proud Of That *** Cause I Know That *** Is Difficult Or Whatever." Solange Knowles’ tweet said simply, “I salute you, brave soul. Independence Day.” And Chely Wright, the first lesbian to come out in country music, said, “I can't think of a better way for Frank to celebrate Independence Day. It's spectacular."
But will the big boys of the hip hop world step up for Frank? Only time will tell. It will also take a few weeks to find out the repercussions on record sales when his debut solo album “Channel Orange” hits the streets. With love songs that use the pronoun “him,” will his fans take offense or will they push through the homophobia and start a new era in the genre? What do you think: Will the rap community embrace a gay star?

By the way, people are coming out because society has become more accepting, not because they are trying out some secret population control methods on you.
It was indeed copied in ignorance. My argument is that this image was projected intentionally to condition young men being "receptive" like that.
I would also argue that the negativity and ignorance on Black marketed radio stations is also by design to negatively affect its target audience.
But men who wear that sort of fashion do it for the "thug" look, they think it's cool. Many strange fashions have developed for strange reasons.
This has nothing to do with any "homosexual agenda", anyone who sees it that way, are simply just paranoid. Some men started sagging their pants once they got out of prison, and it caught on, that's all.
I once started a fashion trend in middle school because my dog chewed up my sweater and the sleeves got all torn, about a few months after that many people were intentionally cutting up and tearing the sleeves of their sweaters because they thought it "looked cool".
People are just strange like that, not everything has a hidden meaning behind it.
Like with plumbers having their tools weighing their pants down.
Then these street gang idiots brought it to prison.
I do not know what wearing your pants at your ankles, like an idiot, means in prison, but why would you expose your butt or at least, underpants, in such an environment, if you were not looking for a beau. lol
:)
I think that would make you a pervert. Why do you spend any time of your day thinking of what some men like to do to each other if you're not interested yourself?
Lesbians are okay with them because they're just something hot for them to look at. It's out of selfish interest that some straight guys are okay with lesbians while treating gay men with no respect (Not that those type generally respect lesbians either).
And not all black people listen to rap (Me)
