Fox May Be Considering All-'Simpsons' Channel: 'D'oh!' or 'Woohoo!'?

If your dream is to be able to watch “The Simpsons” any hour, day or night, then you’re in luck! News Corp. is considering giving the beloved television family, their very own channel.
While the thought of a channel solely devoted to one show may seem crazy, “The Simpsons,” which will launch its 23rd season on Fox this week, is no stranger to making television history.
The show, which has broken many records, is the longest-running American sitcom, the longest-running American animated program, and the longest-running American primetime, scripted television series.
In addition to winning 27 Primetime Emmy Awards, being awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and being featured on the U.S. postage stamp, “The Simpsons” has inspired a billion-dollar merchandising industry.
And we can’t forget “The Simpsons Movie” or “The Simpsons Ride” at Universal Studios.
Maybe a dedicated “Simpsons” channel isn’t so crazy after all.
“[T]his is a unique franchise…and it provides us a unique opportunity to do some interesting things with it,” said News Corp.’s chief operating officer Chase Carey.
"We think there is a bigger opportunity than just a second syndication cycle. We have an opportunity to do something truly unique."

I don't laugh when I watch but it's pathetic funny.
I don't care what you think about a TV show.. Cool if you do, cool if you don't.
It's not bad, definitely better than the Simpsons :)
