Too bad Bananagosip can't stay here with her dogs. I'm not a kid any longer, but if my mother had told me we were moving and had to give away the dog, I would run away and take the dog with me. That's how radical I am about my animals. - +1 raves Suki November 05, 2008 14:28:00
I have done quite a bit of that for many years. I'm finding as I get older, however, that it is more difficult - I don't want to part with them, and I don't want to have more than I can handle, so I write letters and donate to rescue groups that I personally know are doing good work. I won't send money to any group that I don't have thorough information about.
