I'm surprised by how many people think this is only a "small hiccup". She put her life in danger, as well as everyone else who was on the road at the time. I fail to understand why we, as a society, give celebrities a free pass when they do something completely irresponsible and reckless. They are people, just like the rest of us; they should have to obey the laws, just like the rest of us.

Why the hell do all these celebrities drink and drive? You are all millionaires, you really can't call a cab, a limo or pay someone to pick you up or to be your personal chauffeur especially when you're drinking? Really...? REALLY?! It must be 'instyle' or something to get arrested and charged in Hollywood these days, tell me these people cannot be that stupid or selfish... Oh wait, yes they can be and they are.

It's not her first time in trouble with the law (she was pulled over last month for talking on her cell phone while driving), but I'm still willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Also, she didn't hit a cop car, she sideswiped one. Hitting implies a bigger impact than there probably was.

That's what I'm thinking. It's selfish as hell. Every time you do that, you are not only gambling with your own life (which I think is fine, if someone is stupid enough to do that) but OTHER people's lives. It is not something to brush off.

DUI is completely selfish and I'm also surprised at the number of people brushing it off. I think they'd be singing a different tune if she (or anyone for that matter) killed one of their family members while driving drunk.

I use to like because of the nick thing because I was a kid. But along time ago I randomly clicking through channels and saw her and watch it. It was a tv show and she was talking about street sex. I turned it so fast, my childhood memory of her was down the drain. Yea she going to do more stupid things.
