Pretty is as pretty does... Former Miss USA Rima Fakih -- who won the pageant in May 2010 -- is facing drunken driving charges following her arrest this weekend in Highland Park, Mich., People magazine reports.

Fakih's attorney Doraid Elder confirmed the arrest, adding that the beauty queen is "very saddened and very apologetic for the situation that she's in right now," according to People. Fakih tweeted on Saturday: "Let's clear things up now. ... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih." But the post has since been removed.

This isn't the first time Fakih has been surrounded by scandal. Right after she won the Miss USA pageant, a 2007 video of her competing in a "Stripper 101" pole dancing contest emerged. Fakih was the first Arab American ever to win the pageant and the first Miss Michigan to win the title since 1993.

First off, role models for who? and obviously they were never squeaky clean, they just hadn't gotten caught.

Vanessa's scandal is so funny because it is absolutely tame by today's standards. Still, at the time, so many people were in a tizzy. Yet, she managed to shine and have more success than most other Miss America's.

My vote for most shocking scandal would go to Vanessa. She was the 1st of this bunch to do her dirty deed. She blazed a trail for all these young ladies to claim their fame with her lesbian photos brought to you by Penthouse. Most embarrassing has to go to Miss South Carolina. Strangely enough, I really love Vanessa's acting on Desperate Housewives. I love Carrie Prejean because she has traditional, normal values, like moi. I totally agree with what she said about gay/lesbian marriage. Now, sit back and enjoy the feeding frenzy when I am attacked by all the gay/lesbian-Nazis on this site, for MY opinion.
