Don't panic -- Kanye West didn't come in first place. Forbes magazine has ranked hip-hop's top earners, and the biggest moneymaker is ... Dr. Dre.
Dre raked in $110 million in pretax earnings this past year, thanks largely to his premium headphone line, Beats By Dr. Dre, Forbes reports. Diddy comes in second place with $45 million, mostly due to vodka; and Jay-Z ranks third with $38 million, largely due to his business ventures.
Yep ... it seems like hip-hop's cash kings make their money on just about everything BUT hip-hop.
At least Kanye, who comes in fourth on the list with $35 million, earned most of his dough on actual music. From Kanye to Diddy to Nicki Minaj, click through our slideshow and let us know: Who is the most overpaid hip-hop star?

This guy is a REAL hip-hop star
1- Big Daddy Kane
2-Rakim
3-Nas
4-Ghostface Killah
5-Public Enemy.
But I suppose none of them endorse sneakers, so they don't deserve any mentions.
In the US, because of our disgraceful for-profit health-care system, too many people lack necessary access to good care and rehabilitation.
But I have have been certain that I am right, studying our system and that of other countries off and on. I completed an independent study on this subject of deceit as the foundation of our health-care system as part of the requirements for the MSW I received in 2004.
The fact is that if you ask Americans whether they want the benefits of Medicare for everyone without mentioning "liberal", socialized medicine, etc., few will say "no". But calling it socialism is like a threat aimed at your acceptabilty: if you do not back down, you are not part of the group any more. You are a socialist, or Marxist, or communist, or "liberal", or moron, or idiot, etc., etc.
Furthermore, the people who oppose universal health care are of the same demographic of non-Hispanic, non-Jewish whites, who have been angry and resentful ever since they felt bulldozed by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Corporatist government is possible in the US only because its propagandists study the psychology of the angry white male for the purpose of gaining his support by pandering to his biases.
It really is that simple, that childish, and that tragic.
1. u heard one terrible rap song
2. u don't any rap stars
3. U adhere to the stereotype that rap and hip hop are about drugs and sex
which means that u don't what ur saying
But if we want to go with who we want off the list first, it's that rip-off skank Nicki Minaj. Talentless, fake, and trying WAY too hard. Send her on her Starship back to pluto!!
I promote NOT funding her crappy noise and support any who pirate from her, because even "free" is too much to pay for her work.
