  2. Led Zeppelin

    Led Zeppelin

Led Zep's concert in London in December 2007 is considered by many to be the greatest reunion show of all time.

  3. Pink Floyd

    Pink Floyd

The prog legends have never really made up and become friends again, but their reunion performance at Live 8 in 2005 was still breathtaking.

  4. Smashing Pumpkins

His original bandmates are long gone, but front man Billy Corgan brought back the band anyway and recorded two more albums.

  5. Eagles

Britpop legends Blur, who were Oasis's big rivals, have been playing shows again since 2008.

Fleetwood Mac has announced that they are getting back together and going on tour, and singer Stevie Nicks is insistent that this won’t be their last time. Speaking to Reuters, she said that there’s “never going to be a final tour until we drop dead," adding that “there's no reason for this to end as long as everyone is in good shape and takes care of themselves."

But the Mac is far from the only band to come back for a reunion tour (which includes 34 cities across Canada and the U.S.). Some other big names in ’70s rock music have come back and are still at it, such as the Eagles, who came back in 1994 with the “Hell Freezes Over” tour and have never looked back.

Others are a little more stubborn, such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, who only briefly re-formed in the name of charity. It’s a different story over in Britain, where Britpop icons like Blur, The Stone Roses and Pulp have all reunited within the last few years and are still playing gigs.

Take a look at our slideshow and tell us: Who's your favorite band that's re-formed?

FM is overrated. Led Zeppelin is the single greatest and most talented band of all time. The Pink Floyd is the most original. With the fact that they never "really" reunited except for a few songs allows them to barely make this list.

I glad that Fleetwood Mac is doing another tour, I saw them back in 1980-1981 at Glen Helen Park in Devore Ca., Steve Wosiact< that could be spelt wrong. Steve was the founder of "APPLE" computer's. There had to be at least 300,000 people there, it was like another Wood Stock, it was a three day concert and we all had a great time. Fleetwood Mac was one of the best bands to see with good looking Stevie Nicks and she still looks "Hot".

Of the choices given I have to say this one. Because the best band reunion could never ever happen, and that's the one of The Beatles.

Okay, I knew they wouldn't beat out Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd in a popularity contest, but I love their music.

Picked the 'Roses just because im so excited they have reunited! Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are probably the biggest bands to have reunited though.

For those who have never heard of them.

You forgot KISS back in 1996 all four original band members reunited in full makeup! Next to Led Zeppelin they were one of the most influential in Rock History.

Hell Freezes Over was a pretty good effort.

I'd have picked Floyd, but one show does not a reunion make.

I"m feeling my age. The reunion I wanted to see on this list took place 27 years ago. Yikes!!

Fleetwood Mac? At the time they were great....Now, maybe a couple of songs? It reminds me of my favorite group when I was young.."Crosby Stills Nash and Young". I saw them recently (minus Young). A bunch of old men trying to play musical instruments and no where reaching the vocal notes. It's sad to realize how old you gotten based on how crapy the bands are that you used to enjoy!

Fleetwood Mac is a great band, Stevie Nicks is fantastic and never really needed the band. The band is what it is because of Stevie mostly. Runners up for me would be the Eagles and Pink Floyd. Ozark Mountain and Creedence Gold were terrific too.

Led Zeppelin my favorite band in the wide world. Maybe this time I might get a chance to see them. Fleetwood Mac is my second choice. I did see them back in the day, awesome of course and I would love to see them again. Saw the Eagles back in the day as well , they were kind of boring.

None of the ones that you list. CREAM is the best band I've seen to reunite.
