So sad. I always thought suicide was the chicken's way out. There are always solutions. It's so very sad when someone takes their own life. It's as bad as murder. :(

That's so sad! Nothing should ever be so bad in life that ending it seems the only thing to do. It''s a selfish thing to do, too. Just think of how it tears up the lives of the survivors.

it could have been anything... maybe he didn't want to take the treatments.... if it was cancer..... we should know soon...

What make some people to kill themselves: frustration of own thoughts either want or not what is doing. The brains continue to be complexes, inclusive some animals doing too.

He had health problems and while I am definitely not opposed to suicide it is a shame that his wife had to find him dead of a gunshot wound.

Was a Mac fan since the days of Peter Green, Jeremy spencer and Danny Kirwan. Welchrook over after Spencer went Elvis in the middle of a tour and joined the Children of God. So here's Welch with the Mac on a couple of my favorite songs from that time.

Bob Welch did not stand out in a Band of BIG ROCK &ROLL; Personalities, But some of His Songs surely DID! "Sentimental Lady" was probably played at EVERY 70s and 80s Wedding. and HS PROM ! And was a Beautiful Song... RIP, Bob, Sorry you had to leave US... ... Y'all Shine ON...

Great songwriter and artist! Sorry to hear that his health had gotten to a point where he felt that need! I grew up on this version of Fleedtwood Mac after Peter Green had left and Bob came and added so much to the song writing!
