The first photos of Snooki's newborn baby boy Lorenzo have been revealed -- and she says she's "changed" for good. "When I got pregnant, everything changed," the 24-year-old "Jersey Shore" star tells People mag, which reveals the first pics of baby Lorenzo Dominic. "The partying is long gone. I'm a new person."

"It's a different kind of love that I never felt before," she adds of her feelings for baby Lorenzo, who was born on Aug. 26 after 24 hours of labor.

Daddy Jionni LaValle, Snooki's fiance, says he picked the name. "We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo," says LaValle, 25. "She loved it." The baby's middle name, Dominic, is in memory of Snooki's uncle, who died. "I did it for my dad," she says.

Snooki will appear on the final season of MTV's "Jersey Shore," premiering Oct. 4. She is also filming the second season of her MTV spin-off, "Snooki & JWOWW." Do you believe that she's "changed" for good?

motherhood usually changes people. hell it changed my mom for the good. i watched her show Snooki and JWoww and even while she was pregnant she didn't want to do anything. sure she went to a club, but she didn't drink. she's actually a very responsible person. when she was on Jersey Shore sure she got out of control, but so did everyone else in the house. it was summer and they were at the most popular spot for summer vacation. also you have to remember it's reality tv so what happened behind the scenes that we never saw? also what did they tell her to do to earn a little more reviews?

For the baby's sake, I hope I'm wrong and that she turns out to be a great or decent mother. This'll be just crap if I'm wrong and that precious baby turns out to be an attention grabbing little punk, oh God forbid.

Because she knows people are watching her every move when it comes to the baby. The baby will make her carry herself more maturely and behave more responsibly like a real mommy.

People do tend to change after having kids, that's the way it's supposed to be.
I hope for her sake and the sake of her son that she has, she's getting too old to be partying like that anyway. Her baby is really cute!

Getting arrested for public intoxication when you're getting to your mid twenties looks ridiculous. You should be planning for your future instead of burning a hole in your pocket. Jersey Shore money will only get you so far. She can still party, just not as hardy. She should concentrate on being a mother first now and a party girl second.

She loved to drink and party. How different is that from most people her age, and younger! That doesn't make her a bad person. Having a baby can give you a whole new outlook on life. There's no reason to doubt it's hasn't had the same affect on her.

No reason to think she hasn't. I've noticed that having babies changes people, in most cases. On a separate note, oh my goodness, the bottom of his shoes are so cute!! xD

Yes, I believe she is. I've seen many change for the better when they become mothers. My own daughter is my prime example. A 'party' girl and didn't want any children. She's now proud mom of two and is the BEST mom ever, she has one autistic son and an asperger daughter. She's devoted to their well being.
