It's been nearly 14 years since rapper Christopher Wallace, better known as Biggie Smalls, was shot dead, and the public still has little to no evidence about who committed the atrocious crime.

But according to CNN, the FBI released thousands of case-related documents to the public this week.

Readers get a behind-the-scenes look at the FBI and LAPD's work, but the documents are heavily redacted, hiding the names of sources, investigators and suspects.

It may not help us get any closer to solving the mystery, but it does make us wonder again.
