so many wonderful records but animals really is amazing.

Its funny how I would put my order order almost exactly opposite as shown above. Dont underestimate the division bell. Its my second favorite.

Though I am fond of all of them except The Final Cut. Need to make a correction though: While Echos was the longest song and a GREAT one on choice #3, the album name is Meddle. Good poll though and thanks for a refreshing change of pace from so much of the crap on here. Thank You Tommy!!!!!!!
Loved "Welcome to the Machine" on Wish You Were Here. Such masterful use of the synthesizer, it gave me goosebumps. Chose the following video because of my oppression to war. Contains graphic material so if you don't want to view it, don't.

I need to point another error Tommy. The picture used for the poll question was the album cover from ummagumma. I am married to someone who eats, sleeps and breathes PinkFloyd and I am a big fan myslf myself-hence my user name. Just an FYI and not trying to make you feel bad or anything.
I know ALL of Floyd's albums and give you credit for mentioning the really OLD stuff from the Syd Barrett days. Incidently, can you name the first song hit by Pink Floyd and the SECOND?

The album cover for 2001 Echoes-(Greatest Hits Compilation was This ONE). song hit pink floyd album cover 2001 echoes-greatest hits compilation

Thats a hard one. I have to say The Wall is my personal fav. They are all great albums. The Wall was so out there and weird and strange and I like the strange an unusual. It reminds me of someone's nightmare that became their reality.Great music on that one. Dark Side of the moon is a classic.

I don't care for Pink Floyd. I'd much rather hear early Genesis:

Like Peter Gabriel Genesis? He was the lead beforePhil Collins. I have heard some of the really OLD Genesis and it was pretty good.

Pink Floyd is one of the best bands ever, and they've been through so much that each one is the best in their own way.

I love the Dark side of the Moon. Put in the wiazrd of Oz, and at the third roar of the line start the cd, turn the sound down on with wiard and it will amaze you, the sound track goes right along with the movie, and when the cd ends, pause the movie and start again. It is really to cool to sit back and watch and listen to at the same time..... sound track movie cd ends pause movie cool watch listen

Pink Floyd is truly amazing. I don't even think I can pick a favorite album by them. Dark Side of the Moon has always been a great one; the Wall... man that album makes me sad every time I listen to it; Wish You Were Here has some great songs on it... Shine on You Crazy Diamond.... love it, all 9 parts of it.. Atom Heart Mother was a good one, Animals.. I liked how they were used metaphorically to describe people.. jeez Pink Floyd is just brilliant; I can't choose! :)
