After two years of hard times following his now-infamous Rihanna debacle, something finally went Chris Brown's way, thanks to one incredibly honest fan.
According to TMZ, Brown lost his $22,000 diamond-encrusted oyster-faced gold Rolex watch while performing on stage at the VMAs Sunday night. The watch apparently came loose during his performance, and when he tried to toss it to safety it came off and launched right into the crowd.
We're sure the "Yeah 3x" singer assumed he would never see his precious timepiece again, but he sent his bodyguard out to ask around anyway.
Miracle of miracles, someone stepped forward with the obscenely expensive watch.
Not much is known about the identity of the person who returned it. In fact, TMZ claims Brown never even got to meet the enigmatic altruist.
We can only hope Mr. Brown takes a note of the act and applies the sentiment to his own life. A philanthropic Chris Brown might be able to regain a shred of the respect he left behind in 2009, and he could sure use the positivity.
Whatever the case, it's heartwarming to hear there are still people out there who would rather be truthful than make a couple thousand bucks.
Wait a second. It was worth $22,000, right? Holy hell, are they fatherflippin' crazy?
Ahem. Sorry. Honesty. Right. Good work, mystery fan.

The Catalyst 2011/08/31 18:02:49Gotta respect that

Unlike some people, my self worth is not determined by my possesions.
Chris was railroaded and it really hurt his career.
So, just because Chris Brown may be what he appears to be, thankfully for this world, the good samaritan is exactly what he appears to be. Good for him, and gratefully he is not like you.
You seem to have a lot of issues regarding money and people who are lucky to perhaps be a little better off than others. Perhaps they got that way from hard work, not thinking that everyone else 'Owes" them something for any reason, or by having a good outlook on life, and making good use of whatever legal opportunity is made available to them, school, a job offer, and doing something for themselves to better their own life. If your life is not where you would like it to be, then please, help yourself, don't wait for robin hood, who by the way(according to the FICTIONAL story, only thought it was right to help the poor who had nothing to begin with, and had what little they did have, taken away from them by corrupt and dishonest people to better their own lifestyle, basically thru theft. So, Robin wanted only to take back and return to the the "poor" what had wrongfully been taken from them in the first place. He did not take from the honest, hardworking people who managed to have more than others, and who, did help those less fortunate from their good fortune. It is true that the scales of life are unbalanced , and often life is not fair...please try and be happy.
to, in some part take care of all the do nothings, and greedy bottom feeders of this country, with more of them pouring in everyday, with no end in sight, giving them everything that the rest of us have spent our entire working lives
accumulating, and they don't have to do a thing in return, but have more babies, without fathers, and hold out their hands.
But, in spite of this I choose to live my life doing what I feel to be the right thing to do in situations I have control over, if at all possible, and not regret it at all.....as the saying goes...two wrongs do not make a right...
I hope at some point in your life, you will be less bitter about the things you can not do a thing about, and be completely happy with your life as it is. Anything else is just a waste of time and effort, in my way of thinking.
