Last year, Emma Watson was dead set on achieving normalcy by attending Brown University with all the other "normal" kids, but it only took her 18 months to realize that normalcy was not her calling.

And what better way to stomp that out once-and-for-all than dressing up in shiny sequined Prada and heavy makeup, and hitting the cover of Vogue?

She's an actress and she looks fantastic in that role. It's Vogue for crying out loud. She can always dress down on her time whenever she feels like it.

I think she's beautiful as a person, she's becoming more her own person, and not just "the girl from Harry Potter".
She's doing well for herself, and, being in the industry myself, there's nothing in the shoot that I can see as gaudy or unattractive.

i love emma but she's looking way old in these shots. the makeup is way too harsh for her little features and those dresses...well...they speak for themselves lol simple works best on her it seems

Undecided, actually. I like the top photo of her, but the bottom one looks strange to me.

Either way, She's absolutely gorgeous without the heavy makeup and she looks better without it.

It's Vogue. It's supposed to be 'out there' and a little bit outlandish. It's how it stands out. I prefer her Burbery style though
