First love is tough for everyone ... even Emma Stone. In a new interview with Interview magazine, the actress reveals that she had her heart broken when she was just 14 years old. Asked, "What was your first heartbreak like?" Emma Stone responds, "I was crawling on the floor. I remember throwing up."

She continues, "I remember being on the floor . . . I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It's like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen . . . It was awful."

Stone also reveals that she was "anxious" as a kid. "Improv is what helped me overcome the anxiety that I was feeling," she says. Just goes to show you ... even when you're funny and gorgeous, first love takes its toll. Have you ever had your heart broken?

I broke my own heart...I managed to hurt him and myself over something that seems so stupid when I look back at it now. I still love him, I keep holding onto him because I don't want nobody else so I'm hurting myself but I don't want to give up, I'm not ready to move on especially when people tell me to, they don't know what we both went through and it was special and romantic and when I was with him, it was magical...like you can feel the love in the air*-*

I was the one doing the breaking actually. She cheated on me and me thinking I could be the better guy tried to forgive. We were together for four months after that. And all the time she was still hanging with that guy because she was too naive to see that he wasn't her friend. Her problem was she saw herself as one of the guys, he saw her as his next conquest. Well I told how much of an ass she was and she kept defending him and saying how I'm no saint either. It so bad that in the last month the resentment had gotten too high. I started being an ass, making dates, cancelling them an hour before they were to happen, being cold, not even speaking to her for days on end. Eventually I realized I was hurting her, and as much as I resented her for cheating on me I still cared for her and couldn't allow myself to hurt her. I ended it, she was heartbroken I was...melancholic for awhile. Life went on and not a day goes by I wish I could have acted better in that situation.

There was a girl who did some very bad things with some now ex friends who swore she loved me too much to jeopardize our love by getting foolishly intimate. It was one of the most imasculating, and challenging relationships in my life. She had anorexia and I was trying to help her and her need for attention was larger than her very weird death crush on me. So the very confusing, and very hurtful experience I had with her shattered my beliefs in love pretty much into this day. I still don't commit to anyone anymore, it hasn't been worth it with anyone I've met in the last 18yrs because of how bad the relationship went up in flames.

If were just talking about having your heart broken over a romantic relationship, then no, I haven't. Aside from a few unrequited crushes, I haven't really even come close to being in a one, which is probably unusual for my age. I just don't want to be one of those girls who is afraid to be alone so they jump from guy to guy and keep getting dumped.

my case exactly......i used to be anxious over the fact that i don't have a boyfriend(cause most of my friends and girls around my age had at least 1) but now i think it's better to be carefull and find someone that i actually like and that i love and respect, have fun with and anyway....have an actual relationship than jumping from guy to guy to play the femme fatale or get my ass dumped!

I was broken up with at 14 too but I definitely didn't have my heart broken to the point of crawling around on the floor. I mean I was sad about the rejection but we were kids and we were never intimidate so we just went our separate ways. Anyway, glad Emma is with Andrew now and is happy. :)

If medals were given for broken hearts like purple hearts are given for being wounded in battle, I'd have several. I'm sure anyone who's loved anyone has had their heart broken. I know I've broken someone's heart.I hope they've healed and have found happiness.

I was dumped in public. I remember hiding behind a stair case in the library crying hysterically and wanting to throw up. After I pulled myself together after 10 mins I went home and started to cry in the bathroom. I was 17 at the time and we had been together for a year. It was soul crushing.

I, too, was crawling on the floor in a teary, snotty mess.

That was 5 years ago. Looking back I can observe that he was TOTALLY not worth it; a class-A jerk if ever there was one.
