I've always listened to MJ's music, but growing up we rarely heard Elvis. So I never go to know his music.
But MJ stole my heart when I heard Smooth Criminal and my all time favorite song by any artist, Man in the Mirror. Man in the Mirror has shaped my life to what it is today.
I am saying Michael because he put a lot more work into it then back in the day with Elvis. Plus before he died he was trying to warn the people of the Illuminati.
I got two records for my birthday then we hit a rummage sale. I got stacks of Elvis for ten cents a piece. You could tell it was from the same girl because they all had hot pink nail polish to mark them. It always disturbed me that a girl could part from her Elvis records. In retrospective she probably bumped up to albums.
Elvis had a greater range as a singer and actor. Michael was strictly a songwriter and singer who was a parody of his former self...scream, grab crotch, thrust hips.
I think this is a matter of when you grew up. I think both were great artists. If you did not experience either these two while were active it is hard to understand. At the height of Michael's popularity there was no one who could touch him. Ditto Elvis. There has been no one since Michael who has captured such a following and been so talented.
i was never really big on mj
LONG LIVE THE KING!
(RIP Elvis)
Jackson is a lot of flash and not much else.
IMO
Both are legends and may they rest in peace ♥
