A pair of Elvis Presley's underwear will go up for auction next month in England and the product is expected to make around $16,000. That, in itself, is a little strange... but the worse part about it is that this particular pair hasn't been washed since he wore and stained them. In 1977. Pretty gross if you ask me. Are the bidders who are interested super-fans... or just freaks?

Freaks

grease off of automobiles and machinery. Is it really neccessary, especially in this depressed economy to blow sixteen grand plus on a dirt and grease rag?
...
Whats wrong with this world?
Nuts, just plain nuts.
The paramedics took him to Baptist Memorial hospital the afternoon he died. When family and friends at home (Graceland) received the shocking call saying it had been too late, there were a few people that went through the house looting whatever they could.
There was a very interesting thread about it on an Elvis site where I'm a member. A lot of jewellry and stuff just disappeared that chaotic summer afternoon. Dirty underwear??
I doubt anybody was remotely interested in that.
Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.
What is wrong with some folks? Really? This is like coveting the dirty used retainer or a used tissue of some famous person.
Beyond stupidity.
Edit: Ok, let's get in the ridiculous zone with these sickos for a minute. How you gonna verify it's the real article? DNA testing?
BTW, who first decided it was a good idea to pick these up off the bathroom floor and save them for future exploitation in the first place?
All the more reason these lowlifes should simply give it up on the skivvies.
.
eBay?
