Elton John Says Madonna's Career Is 'Over,' Compares Her to a 'Stripper': Right On or Dead Wrong?

She sells out and can still sing so no.

I'd rather be entertained by Barney the dinosaur then madonna.

But let's dig deep and tell it like it is, SO, Who really gives a bid diddly damn?

Madonna who? There is some broad who says she's Madonna, but doesn't look at all like her.

Wow really Elton should be ashamed of himself, making such a judgmental ass of himself. I'd think someone with a sexual preference such as his would be a lot less judgmental of someone like Madonna then he has shown here.



As, far as Madonna's career is considered, shes looking maybe the best physically she has ever looked, and shes coming off a recent decent performance on one of the biggest stages in the world, the super bowl halftime show. So, I actually disagree 110% with Elton, on this one. Madonna could easily grab the reigns and seize an opportunity that she's currently confronting and instead of being at the end of a career, she could create the biggest moments of her career, as long as she has the positive support everyone requires to take that next step in what is life. Mr. Elton needs to think before he analyzes someone else career, that what he says may have the same effect on his career.

As, far as the diss of Lady Ga Ga, I find it hard how that would kill her carrer seeing as other artists carrer success revolve around dissing everyone and everything around them.

Madonna constantly re-invents herself. Personally, I think the feud between Elton and Madonna is a hoax to keep their names in the spotlight! The publicity agents should get a bonus for this one.

I've been an Elton fan since I was 10 and why he is getting his panties all bunched up over Madonna is beyond me. In Sir Elton John's world she is inconsequential. He is lowering his status every time he utters her name.

Just saw Madonna recently in a pic and she was dressed as a school girl. I think it makes her look older and desperate for attention.

i think madonna does her own thing and has been doing it for years,i think she is a real showstopper i still love watching her older concerts on dvd and will keep doing so. elton is also great but has anger management issues he needs to just chill out.

This phase of her career is probably over. But she will re-invent herself and become an even bigger success. Madonna is maturing and so is her fan base.

When she dissed this lady instead of being smart and teaming up with her, THAT is when it ended. They could have done great work together... Ah well...
