Ellen Degeneres: New American Idol Judge?

I don't care for that show, I stopped watching it a few years ago. I always enjoyed the auditions part though.

Blah... as if her voice didn't hurt my ears enough in Finding Nemo. Wait I don't have to worry about that, I have a remote and other channels or maybe I will find something valuable to do that isn't a complete waste of my time. Not that I watch anyway.

I am so f*cking excited I might actually die the first time she's on the show. Seriously. She's pretty much my favorite person ever and has been for a long time, and Idol is my favorite show, more or less. Oooomg.

I hate that man.

ellen degeneres would be a great american idol judge. everybody likes her and it would be good for the show because more people would watch it. shes awesome!

I will reserve judgement until I see her in action as a judge. I believe she will bring some humor to the panel. As far as musical judgement, she can only represent the rest of us "regular" folks as a typical buyer or listener of music. The other three on the panel have expertise and can judge the actual musical talent. It could work.

I think she would be great as the new judge. She is very witty without be vulgar or insulting, she's smart and would lighten up the show without having tantrums. She would probably tone down Mr. Cowell although is that even possible? Let's find out.

and yea she can dance like unnamed said. and she has got a great personality but im not sure she would be better than paula cause ive never watched american Idol but yea she dosent realy have the requirments or Experience to be an idol judge but if the show wants to be more popular then maybe ellen degeneres but if you want to get the more proper message across then i reckon you should keep paula although like i typed before i havent watched american idol cause in Australia we have Aussie idol and im enjoying it and more than a week ago this boy sang.

I liked Paula but I think Ellen will work out just fine for AI.
She will say things the way a lot of the people at home would feel and give the idols a bit of an idea what more of us might think...She's pretty cool and she'll be entertaining.
