NWO revolutionised wrestling. Without the NWO wrestling would not be the same. It got a bit convoluted in its later years with all the break off factions, but the core of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hogan was so different and so unique that it shocked everyone and managed to change the wrestling business overnight.
DX on the other hand weren't that much of a big deal in their early days. It was a way for Shawn Michaels to help get his friend popular. DX didn't become a huge deal really until they expanded. Chyna, X-Pac and The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn). At that point they become the biggest deal in wrestling. They had a major impact on every level in the WWF from World champions, womans champions, tag champions, light-heavyweight champions etc. The newer reunions have been lame though, Triple H and Shawn Michaels pissing about isn't DX. DX actually had some balls. But the New Age Outlaws are one of the best teams of all time. Weirdly it was when the NWO started becoming a bit stale that D-X became more interesting.
But yeah NWO made way more of an impact, and did so much more for wrestling.
