Looks like the "Dumb and Dumber" sequel may be happening after all -- WITH its two original stars, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
"We almost were able to kinda get it done this year, but they’re still working on the script," said Daniels, according to WENN. "Jim wants to do it, I want to do it, the Farrellys want to do it… We’re all hoping that it’ll come together early next year."
Can we just say how PSYCHED we are? "Dumb and Dumber" is one of the funniest movies we've ever seen -- and 18 years later, we still watch it every chance we get. But it just wouldn't have been the same without Carrey, who reportedly dropped out of the project earlier this summer. Are you pumped for "Dumb and Dumber 2"?

Sure it was hilarious in 1994 and has dated well though I think the Farrely brothers will need to pull the best dick jokes out of their asses for this one.
Dumb and Dumber was one of the first movies that really glorified stupidity that became mainstream. Stupidity is the most unattractive quality, even worse than body odor and obesity but this and other movies like it have made stupidity normal and acceptable.
