'Dumb and Dumber' Sequel May Be Back On: Are You Psyched?

Looks like the "Dumb and Dumber" sequel may be happening after all -- WITH its two original stars, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.

"We almost were able to kinda get it done this year, but they’re still working on the script," said Daniels, according to WENN. "Jim wants to do it, I want to do it, the Farrellys want to do it… We’re all hoping that it’ll come together early next year."

Can we just say how PSYCHED we are? "Dumb and Dumber" is one of the funniest movies we've ever seen -- and 18 years later, we still watch it every chance we get. But it just wouldn't have been the same without Carrey, who reportedly dropped out of the project earlier this summer. Are you pumped for "Dumb and Dumber 2"?

    NOOOOOOOOOO! One of the most traumatic events of my life was seeing Jeff Daniels (fresh from his wonderful performance in "Gettysburg") in D+D, having diarrhea on the toilet.

    There already was a second film called Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, but that failed miserably.

    It was made in 2003


    Different actors but same retarded concept - making a 3rd version is even more stupid.

    Dumb and Dumberer wasn't worth the film that captured it, but I admittedly did like the original.

    "Pretty bird. Pretty bird..."

    However, seeing Jeff do slapstick after watching him in Newsroom, will make it harder for me.

    Of course Dumb & Dumber isn't a classic film like Gone With The Wind or The Godfather, but it was a pretty damn funny (and I admit a very stupid) movie back in the 90s when I was a teenager. I'm looking forward to it more for nostalgic value and I probably won't waste my money seeing it in theatres, so I'll wait until it comes out on Bluray. I like watching intelligent movies that make me think, but sometimes it's nice to just sit back, have a good laugh and turn off my brain.

    when you think about it, their is not too many funny movies..but the 1st one was, and so will the 2nd..carrey is pretty funny, he stole the show in living color and the 1st movie, daniels along for the ride.
