Drums sound cool, but you can more easily make songs with a guitar and no other instrument.

Yep good point. Try listening to some of those live prog rock albums from the 60s/70 with the obligatory drum solo that just goes on and on. That's why we have punk , so maybe not a totally bad thing.:-)

You should try for the Roland.......You can put them on headphones, since they are electronic. Same with all the Roland's. And when wanting to play aloud, you can hook up an amp to them. In the model I have, there are 64 different kits, plus kits that can be imported of random things.
Roland kits are very reliable, and I haven't heard of them giving out or dying at all. :)
