And now a civil rights leader is calling for Dog's TV show to be removed from the airwaves.
In a shocking world exclusive The ENQUIRER has obtained tapes of two revolting phone conversations in which Duane "Dog" Chapman unleashes a filthy bigoted attack, littered with the N-word and other disgusting racial insults.
The star of the A&E reality show Dog, The Bounty Hunter directed his racist hatred at his son Tucker's girlfriend Monique Shinnery, who is black.
"Dog Chapman should not have a show. That show should be taken off the air!"
That's the opinion of prominent civil rights leader Roy Innis, who has served as the chairman of the Congress for Racial Equality (CORE) since 1968. Innis was shocked and outraged when The ENQUIRER played Dog Chapman's racist telephone conversations for him.
"This man should not be held up as a role model for children," Innis told The ENQUIRER. "He has venom deep in his soul. This is a picture of his heart — a revelation of his true nature.
Innis believes that cable network A&E needs to take swift action in response to Dog's vicious outburst.
"He needs to answer for his behavior," says Innis.
"When someone gets the opportunity to use the airwaves, he becomes a role model, whether he likes it or not. Dog Chapman should not be in that position, posing as a good guy.

Oh, I could say so much about this question.....I will first say that this was supposedly a PRIVATE conversation between him and his son! How many times have every single one of us said things in confidence to another person that we would never say in public? And second, it kills me that the media takes these celebrities lives and just picks them apart into little pieces! Who would care if one of us non celebrity people said this to one of our kids? As a Hawaii resident, I have to say that, in my understanding of the way people on this island communicate, the racial slurs he used do not have the same connotation here as they do elsewhere. I hear terms of that sort used freely by just about everyone, and that does *not* mean everyone here is racist - heck, most everyone here, myself included, come from a mix of races, so to be a bigot would be a self-defeating idiocy.The thing is, Hawaii is a *very* un-PC place, and to hear the residents, like Dog, talk, you might think that no one here accepts anyone, while in reality the exact opposite is true - so little here is racially motivated that the usual racial slurs are simply used without feelings involved on either side.
Most of the time, anyway. There are, of course, exceptions. But considering Dog's actions on his show, which have never involved racism or bigotry in any way, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume what he said was anger-based, not hatred-based.

Yes, I said it when the story first broke, he screwed up. He's working on it, I believe he's sincere, he definitely has alot to lose, but, even if he had more slips, I would still give him a chance, I love the show, he does good work, and he's a hard worker, he's human, not perfect and he knows this. He did not want her insulted and spreading stuff that would ruin him.He didn't bring that into his job so why is it that everyone else is? People around the neighborhood use it, but they also say it's the equivalent of white trash and they are not afraid to call someone that either. I've seen them pal around with darker skin tones and even help ones that they don't know, and these are poor whites, the ones that supposedly aren't educated and are stereotypically racist.
I've only used it to make fun of the word itself because it just never had that bite I feel in a curse. It's generally used for one group of people like cracker. Those don't have the real bite either. It's actually more of a statement about themselves. I've even used it on white friends in play.

About Dog's show, I hate it. I can't stand how they talk about the task and how it's basically the same thing, over and over and over. Maybe if it was funny, but no. He curses too much anyway and I just can't stand the drama when those he catches start boohooing. (more)

I can't believe the extent that this situation has come to. I mean we are talking about a man who pulled a 180 degree turn in life to better his future and help others do the same. Who are we to take this away from him. I think that the National Enquirer should be the one's on trial here for setting people like Dog Chapman up for such a tremendous fall in life.
