Does the GOP have a “demographic problem”?

Republican strategists worry that Tuesday’s election results indicates the GOP has a “demographic problem.” No kidding. Latinos turned out at the polls and voted for President Obama at a historic rate. At least one election eve report by the Latino Decisions blog indicates that Obama won 75% of that voting bloc, while Republican challenger Mitt Romney captured a mere 23%. (Latinos account for 10% of the electorate).

No, they don't. the COUNTRY has a welfare, deadbeat, slaggard class, liberal problem.

Looking at the map, areas where people have a work ethic and earn what they have went to Romney, areas with large inner city/liberal populations (a lot of young people, a lot of illegals and other immigrants) went to obama.

We have a federal dependency problem, not a GOP problem

The GOP have a problem with demographics, because some replublicans are so racist, and lying is the only way they seem to know! If they were to get the black vote.

Or maybe the GOP has a problem with a large percentage of the minority community voting for some one based on the color of their skin and half of his lineage, ignoring fact and a common sense view of what the policies and aganda of this man will do for America, along with a percentage of lazy elitest socialsit white america....... why did over the vast majority of African Americas vote for Obama, can they explain his policies or the ramifications of his socialist agenda ? Or maybe voting for a half keynan is just racist, Maybe you can tell me how a half white, half african american who grew up living a white lifestyle with white grandparents in HAWAII and then got enrolled in elitest Ivy league schools with the sponsering of anti america socialist has ANYTHING to do with the civil rights struggle of black America ?

I don't know about anyone else, but I voted for Obama because he sounded like he had it all in order, it had nothing to do with his skin! Can you exsplain the jibbirish Romney speaks? If you think all of these horrorable things, then why aren,t you glad that OIbama is trying to mess the minority up?

GOP have demographic problems because the republican tent is full of racists, and people of color know it. The only way to get people of color to vote republican, is to lie or change. Mittens proved that it is easier for them to lie than to change. Receiving almost 50% of the vote from lying??????? unbelievable. Makes one wonder about that republican base.

Absolutely yes. Our leaders have been complicit in moving American jobs over seas for decades. Through free trade agreements, taxes, and stiff regulations on businesses. The loss of jobs coupled with the creation of and the perpetuation of the welfare state is a ready made demographic of voters who will support whoever promises to give them the most. That happens to be the Socialists, er, I mean, Democrats.

If there were a real difference between left and right one would think the challenging party would put forward a candidate of quality, intelligence, knowledge, and opposing ideas with a logical rationale for implementing them. Well, you know that didn't happen. The choice was one globalist puppet challenged by another globalist puppet.

The globalists won. Again. Americans lost. Again.

I will reiterate, again, that our so-called two party system is a sham and a scam to keep us fighting over ridiculous wedge issues while they conclude their plans for the dismantling of America.

The GOP does not have a problem. The destruction of the country is the fault of the inane morons who elected such cretins as obumavich, Reid, Polousy, and the rest of the commie, Muslim, and racist cadre of fellons. My greatest fear is that the only solution is civil war and that will start when the dictators come after the guns, thereby eliminating all rights and freedoms of real Americans.

Obama also won with 73% of Asian voters and 93% of Black voters. Young Caucasians also favor Obama. The old Republican political strategy of dark money, threats, propaganda, and exclusion just doesn't work anymore.

The demographic the GOP needs but won't ever get are conservatives who aren't neo-con sympathizers. And the libertarians could have put them over the top earlier this week, but they don't want anything to do with them, because there is nothing conservative about the GOP anymore, and they aren't about to change that.

Yes, sadly, the GOP has a crime demographic problem. I saw the popular vote map and I couldn't help that it looked strikingly familiar, and then, when someone said that Chicago had the highest crime rate -- SNAP! It hit me. This map overlays PERFECTLY with the rate of violent felonies committed per capita. Crime ratios should remain the same, no matter the population because in higher populated areas, there are more law enforcement and less in the urban areas. Coincidence? It can't be. One city is a coincidence, EVERY CITY is a pattern. Poverty is the linking factor between crime and the votes we saw -- and sadly, those in poverty looks up to Obama to help them with handouts instead of looking to those not in their shoes as examples.
