First-look pictures of Naomi Watts playing Princess Diana have been released for Watts' upcoming role as the late royal in the new biopic “Caught in Flight.” The British-born actress is portraying the legendary royal in a somewhat-controversial film revolving around the relationship that the princess had with Dr. Hasnat Kahn played by “Lost's” Naveen Andrews.

Before she was cast in the role, many other names were being bandied about like Jessica Chastain, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley and Emily Blunt. But the “King Kong” star won out and is now faced with the tough task of embodying one of the world’s most treasured icons. In a release when she landed the part in February, Watts remarked, "Princess Diana was loved across the world and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen."
Watts is no stranger to bringing real characters to life, like Justice department secretary Helen Gandy in “J. Edgar” and CIA Operations Officer Valerie Plame in “Fair Game.” But certainly portraying someone as high profile and with such a recognizable style adds an extra layer of pressure for the actress.
Reviews are mixed as to whether Watts attains the grace, elegance and flair of the late Princess of Wales. She certainly got the classic layered haircut that was often imitated back in the day. And Watts seems to have perfected Di’s shy smile and she looks uncannily like the royal when donning the almost replica gowns and preppy outfits. What do you think: Does Naomi Watts make a good Princess Di?

I don't mean that with disrespect... just simple curiosity.
Do not be dismissing your Scots warring history either. It was bloody and brutal and your people fought each other as much as you fought the English. Scots were born to fight and kill, the ones they loved to kill more than the English were their own. Highlanders and Lowlanders murdered each other for centuries.
