Recently, whenever Lady Gaga makes headlines, it's either due to some kind of international protest, like the ones in South Korea and Indonesia, or because Madonna said something bitter. But there was a time when Gaga was primarily a fashion icon. The meat dresses, the Kermit dolls, the lobster heels -- she still does that stuff, but it doesn't quite make the splash it used to. Still, rumor has it Gaga is set to appear on the cover of Vogue's September issue.

For now, Vogue refuses to confirm or deny the rumors. A spokesperson told The Daily News, "That is a rumor, not confirmed at all. We never comment on rumors about future issues." But Women's Wear Daily claims Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott already did the shoot, and it will reportedly accompany the launch of her new fragrance. And it wouldn't be the first time she graced a cover. Do you think Lady Gaga is a good cover girl?

Why is the majority no? Let me guess... the picture they used must have swindled some judgement. Whatever, that shot was terrible anyway, just like Aderp's recent cover mag.

THINK about it for a second people...

If THESE GIRLS can get on the cover....

.... so can Gaga. And I'd PREFER Gaga anyway!!

I'm guessing those who chose "no" are just deciding based on the fact that they don't like her music or her act. Tell me how this picture looks worse than any other cover girl who graces Vogue's magazine.

To be honest, she looks weird to me. I don't listen to her music or anything, but some styles look good and some don't. The way the hair is doesn't match well with her face. Also, she seems to be on edge with her fashion which is good, just different.

I chose no because I just don't care for her look. I'm not a hater. In fact, I know almost nothing about her, but that might be why I was able to choose no - because I am unbiased. If I got to know her and like her, I might have chosen yes because the way you feel about a person can affect the way you physically interpret them. I've seen beautiful people become hideous and not-so-good-looking people become quite handsome because of who they are inside.

Oh, I don't imagine everyone who chooses 'no' is a hater... she just seems to have a lot of them.
I'm neither a huge fan nor a hater, since I'm not really into her style of music... I just like the look... I just find that when it comes to this type of poll, a lot of people vote based on whether or not they like the celebrity, rather than how the celebrity looks. I imagine she probably got a lot of "yes" votes from fans who may, like you, not care for her look, but just want to support her.
