Recently, whenever Lady Gaga makes headlines, it's either due to some kind of international protest, like the ones in South Korea and Indonesia, or because Madonna said something bitter. But there was a time when Gaga was primarily a fashion icon. The meat dresses, the Kermit dolls, the lobster heels -- she still does that stuff, but it doesn't quite make the splash it used to. Still, rumor has it Gaga is set to appear on the cover of Vogue's September issue.

For now, Vogue refuses to confirm or deny the rumors. A spokesperson told The Daily News, "That is a rumor, not confirmed at all. We never comment on rumors about future issues." But Women's Wear Daily claims Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott already did the shoot, and it will reportedly accompany the launch of her new fragrance. And it wouldn't be the first time she graced a cover. Do you think Lady Gaga is a good cover girl?

Why is the majority no? Let me guess... the picture they used must have swindled some judgement. Whatever, that shot was terrible anyway, just like Aderp's recent cover mag.

THINK about it for a second people...

If THESE GIRLS can get on the cover....

.... so can Gaga. And I'd PREFER Gaga anyway!!

She is so fake. What with all that makeup she wears.. She tries TOO HARD to be different. I do not find her to be a good role model.
Maybe if they post her with natural makeup, natural hair colors and "normal" clothing lacking food items and some oddly based meaning of no relevance to the clothing, then YES. MAYBE.

she looks so ritualistic in the strange clothes she prances around in. and the way she dances as well. it reminds me of the witchcraft rituals of old. dont even tell me none of this doesnt look evil. this is artwork not her ritualistic clothing

YES, because she is different. You get tied of looking at the same women who society say is beautiful! Don't get me wrong Lady Gaga is beautiful in her own way, that's what so beautiful about "Variety" everyone is beautiful in their own special way. "Variety" is the name of the game!
