Recently, whenever Lady Gaga makes headlines, it's either due to some kind of international protest, like the ones in South Korea and Indonesia, or because Madonna said something bitter. But there was a time when Gaga was primarily a fashion icon. The meat dresses, the Kermit dolls, the lobster heels -- she still does that stuff, but it doesn't quite make the splash it used to. Still, rumor has it Gaga is set to appear on the cover of Vogue's September issue.

For now, Vogue refuses to confirm or deny the rumors. A spokesperson told The Daily News, "That is a rumor, not confirmed at all. We never comment on rumors about future issues." But Women's Wear Daily claims Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott already did the shoot, and it will reportedly accompany the launch of her new fragrance. And it wouldn't be the first time she graced a cover. Do you think Lady Gaga is a good cover girl?

Why is the majority no? Let me guess... the picture they used must have swindled some judgement. Whatever, that shot was terrible anyway, just like Aderp's recent cover mag.

THINK about it for a second people...

If THESE GIRLS can get on the cover....

.... so can Gaga. And I'd PREFER Gaga anyway!!

As far as the business beauty standards go, they probably were beautiful
However, the public (at least the majority) hasn't seen that as beauty for a while
But without examples I can't speak on the matter as I haven't seen them to comment.

not in this picture but then the idea is to get your attention and make you pick up the magazine. The comments below with the pictures are really gross and I wonder whose mother would be horrified to see her child wrote it. Unless the child is already grown then they should know better.
